Passion Runner donates his shoes today at Mizuno Run

Today at the Mizuno run, I donated my shoes to a person who needs it more than I do.This is in response to the BaldRunners call for used and/or old shoes. (See article here or at thebullrunner’s site)

I was inspired right after reading the article. So I looked in my closet for old running shoes. I have several so I just grabbed one. I gave away my Nike Air Max… I think it’s about 3 or 4 years old. I actually don’t remember anymore. Either way, my feet got bigger so I guess it won’t fit me anymore. I didn’t try it out anymore.

So today, I donated my shoes to the DND-AFP Gintong Pangarap Running Club, Inc. It was Capt. Ferdinand Elpidio C. Espejo, Jr who was the receiving officer. He’s the guy on the right. It felt good and he was so happy that he asked that he take our picture. Hehe. They gave me a white “ONE” wristband. I don’t really know what it stands for… but that wristband will remind me of that day I made another runner happy. :)
