No where to go but up

This week has been terribly down for me, I don’t know why. I haven’t been able to wake up for the morning sessions so I end up running in the afternoon. I was not able to run my 10k easy run last night due to a sudden muscle strain, not cramp. After doing 2k in UP and out of nowhere, I just could not run or even at least jog. I wasn’t even throuhg with my warm-up and yet I felt I couldn’t continue.

The week did not start out right and it was pulling my energies down. In fact, I’ve been oversleeping, which is also very bad since it only causes one to have headaches in the morning. Imagine, 10 or more hours of sleep?! Crazy!

Well, as the saying goes, there is no where to go but up… and that’s what I did today. I ran up the bleachers at ULTRA despite the rain. I did 10 reps on the bleachers and 10 reps on the stairs, followed by 10x100m.

Surprisingly, I was not tired after the bleachers and stair when I would be normally be gasping for air. After the workout, I definitely felt better. More energized and definitely happier… OF COURSE, there’s a reason why!

HAPPY FEET! Ang dami na nag-tra-train sa ULTRA… Secret training kuno. Haha!!! The cat is out of the bag people! Wait for the pics… but for now, these are the people I’m outing. Haha!
